Whenever I think of the word “Beast,” the image of the Harpy from “The Last Unicorn” pops into my head.
Probably because it’s the scariest creature I saw on film when I was a child (well, her and the two rats from “Lady and the Tramp.”)

Announcing this month’s theme: Beasts!
Mythological or magic, real or imagined– beasts of all kinds haunt us. Or at least me, anyway. We’re very excited about this theme and are hoping for a wide and exciting range of submissions. So get writing, RSVP on our facebook page, invite a friend, and prepare yourself for the very best Syllable Series of the year.
